Mountain Dew’s Dew Challenge returns, and here’s your chance to win a chicken dinner!
The Mountain Dew x PUBG Dew Challenge is back, bigger than ever, this time on a national scale. This partnership blends virtual fun and reality with one of the largest PUBG-themed paintball tournaments in Malaysia.
The paintball arena will bring to life all the elements players adore from the game, creating an immersive PUBG-like experience. Designed to capture the hearts of sporty, adventurous youths, as well as aspiring PUBG players, everyone can anticipate an immersive gaming adventure filled with innovative and exciting ideas.
Beginning October 1, interested individuals can purchase a 400ml Mountain Dew bottle. By visiting the Dew Challenge website at dewchallenge.com, they can enter the unique code located beneath the bottle cap to complete their registration and claim prizes.
Prizes may include, but are not limited to, UC Coins, in-game items, merchandise, and partner vouchers. Each redemption leads to a random selection of Dew Coins, contributing to the regional live leaderboard rankings.
The top-ranking participants in each region will receive priority access to the thrilling and action-packed regional rounds taking place in November. These regional rounds will be held across four regions in Malaysia: North, South, Central, and East Malaysia.
Similar to PUBG Mobile where players drop and scavenge for loot, participants will engage in a treasure hunt mirroring the game’s mechanics. Drawing inspiration from in-game mechanics, the treasure hunt will begin with participants selecting the region where they will begin their journey.
Participants will scavenge for loot boxes, which contribute to extra leaderboard points prior to the actual tournament. These loot boxes are replenished on a daily basis or at various times throughout the day at partner locations such as MBO Cinemas, Morac Go Kart, Chicago Chicken City, Taco Bell, and Domino’s Pizza outlets all over the country.
Participants will receive alerts from the Dew Challenge website indicating the availability of loot boxes at specific locations. They can then scan the QR code on these virtual loot boxes to claim prizes, ultimately boosting their positions on the leaderboard.

To redeem exclusive merchandise and sample products, participants can engage in several PUBG-inspired activities. These include using a special Mountain Dew x PUBG vending machine, participating in an immersive shooting gallery, and joining the gaming jam session, which offers additional opportunities to win prizes.
