Triple J breakfast show host Bryce Mills has announced his departure from the radio program on Monday.

Triple J breakfast show host Bryce Mills announced his departure from the radio program on Monday.

The 30-year-old,who has been co-hosting the show since 2021,explained on air that this was his dream job but he feels burnt out.

'I think I've probably averaged five hours (of sleep) a night in three and a half years,' he said.

He also shared a YouTube video,explaining his decision to leave and revealing he has struggled with mental health issues.

Mills said he had even contemplated taking his life earlier this year and his bosses gave him four weeks off to focus on his mental health.
